"Experience the Stellar difference"
How much does a screen enclosure cost?
There are many variables to cost: size, complexity, materials, etc. Give us a call today to discuss your project in detail.
Do I need a permit for my screen enclosure?
Replacement and new builds do require a permit. Repairs depend on your local building code. Rescreen only do not.
Can I add Full View Panoramic screen walls to my existing screen enclosure?
Actually, you can! We have helped many customers transform their existing enclosure to the newer style to really open up the view with amazing results.
Are screen enclosures with Panoramic screen walls as strong as the traditional screen enclosures?
Absolutely! They are engineered and built to the same stringent building codes, so you don't have to worry about sacrificing strength for beautiful aesthetics.
What is the projected timeline on new construction?
Generally, you can expect to see the build start approximately 30-60 days after paperwork and deposit is collected (Subject to change after major weather events such as Hurricanes). There is more to it than just building the enclosure. First step is to order site specific engineered drawings for your enclosure. Once the plans are back, we submit the permit for processing. Once permit is issued, we are then ready to build. Installation time vary depending on build type and complexities. A build could take a couple days or a couple weeks, or more with larger scale projects. Discussing the timeline for your project is a key part of the consultation process, as several factors can affect the timeline, including the contractor’s current workload, permitting for the project, and weather conditions. Depending on time of year, weather may be a major factor. Discussing timeline requirements will help you decide which enclosure company to hire.
What is needed to start my project?
1. Signed agreement
2. Signed NOC (Notice of Commencement)
3. Site Survey (Usually found with the closing paperwork for your home, HOA or City/County public records)
4. Deposit
Does a contractor need a license to build screen enclosures?
Yes. You can see if a contractor has an active license here. https://www.myfloridalicense.com/wl11.asp?mode=0&SID=
What is the typical payment schedule?
Before signing paperwork, it’s important to understand how the company structures the payment schedule for your project. Many companies schedule payments based on completed steps, but you’ll want to discuss fully with any prospective company to avoid surprises. Our payment schedule for permitted work as follows. Starting as low as 10% deposit, ~45% permit issuance, ~45% upon completion, and $500 hold until building inspection passes.
How long do screen enclosures last in Florida?
A quality screen enclosure lasts 10-20 years depending on the materials you choose, along with the screen enclosure contractor. It’s important to be thorough in your questioning when hiring the best contractor for your project. We only use the industry's top-rated materials and highly experienced installers for our projects. Many companies cut corners and offer lower grade materials to increase profit, leaving their customers with an inferior product that will not last.
